Privacy Policy
How Kairos Trading collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Who we are
Kairos Trading ("Kairos," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Kairos Trading membership website and provides access to strategy research and portfolio reports for approved members.
Privacy questions: support@kairostrading.net.
What we collect
When you apply for membership, we collect information you provide: first and last name, email address, phone number, country, trading experience level, optional LinkedIn profile URL, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
Approved members may update profile details and request an email change from their account page. Email changes take effect only after you confirm the new address via a one-time link we send to that address. We also notify your previous email when a change is requested.
We store short-lived password-reset and email-change tokens (as secure hashes only) so we can verify those requests.
When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive and store subscription status, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, and related billing metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
We may collect technical information necessary to operate and secure the Services, such as IP address, browser type, and request logs from our hosting provider.
How we use your information
To review and process membership applications and manage your account.
To provide access to Member Materials for strategies you subscribe to.
To process payments and manage Subscriptions through Stripe.
To send trade notification emails when you subscribe to a strategy and have not opted out (you can disable these per strategy in your dashboard or via an unsubscribe link in each email).
To send transactional emails for password reset and email-change confirmation (and related security notices).
To communicate with you about your application, account, billing, or important service updates.
To maintain security, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information.
We share data with service providers that help us operate the Services, including Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and Cloudflare (website hosting, database, and file storage). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to respond to valid legal process.
Retention
We retain account and application information while your membership exists and as needed thereafter for billing records, dispute resolution, security, and legal compliance.
You may request deletion of your account by contacting us; we will delete or anonymize information where we are not required to retain it by law or legitimate business need.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
Approved members can update most profile fields and change their password or email from the account page on the Services.
Canadian residents may contact us to access or correct personal information under PIPEDA. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
To exercise your rights, email support@kairostrading.net. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
International transfers
We are based in Canada. Your information may be processed in Canada and in countries where our service providers operate (including the United States). We take reasonable steps to protect personal information in line with this policy.
Children
The Services are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Material changes will be communicated as appropriate (for example, by email or a notice on the site).
Current policy version: 2026-07-17.
